We are a multi-disciplinary group, with expertise ranging from Computer Science to Clinical Psychology, and from Educational Science to Interaction Design. The Center has always valued its role in education, and has had several successful Bachelor and Master students write their theses at the Center ranging from Computer Science, and Multi Media Technology to Geo-Informatics. Therefore, a good command of English is necessary to effectively work at the Center. Students are encouraged, if possible, to write their theses in English as well. The projects described below are proposals and are meant to act as a guideline: we value students who come up with their own ideas, improvements and suggestions on topics. Jan Evangelio, 20, Rocky Hill, Connecticut. I read many good reviews of Eduvinci here, and I am grateful for all the assignments they wrote for me. However, Id like to raise an issue about discounts. The first discount that I received was great. 10% for my first paper, but after that, I got absolutely nothing. I received some promo codes on Halloween and Christmas and some other holidays. But what about constant discounts? I saw that some companies give a constant progressive discount for loyal clients something like 8% for those who ordered more than 50 pages. I have already ordered 53 pages in general. Shouldnt I get some regular discounts for ordering so many papers? Maybe, you have such a program, and I just missed it. Please, inform me in case you do have a discount program for clients like me.

This is an archived copy of the catalog. Human Computer Interaction is an interdepartmental graduate program that seeks to improve the way individuals and groups use computers through an understanding of the social and cognitive aspects of the design and use of computational devices. Students in the program learn about cognitive psychology, graphic design principles, the impacts of technology on society, evaluating system usability, and cutting edge computer programming for computational perception and language parsing. Student research projects have explored the latest in virtual reality studies, improving natural interaction through touch screens and 3D camera gesture controls, virtual engineering using force feedback devices, and many other projects at the bleating edge of technological innovation. Graduates of the program have gone to work at many of the largest technology firms in the US and abroad while others have gone on to positions in academia.

If you are interested in finishing your Bachelor or Master studies with a thesis in Human-Computer Interaction, you are welcome to contact us. Our research projects are a rich source for ideas. In general, writing a thesis with a focus on HCI will require you to take a user-centred perspective and asks you to apply adequate methods, such as involving users during design and evaluation. But at the same time, you will have the chance to work with the latest technology, such as Augmented Reality Glasses, Gaze-Based Interaction, Multi-Device Interaction, Voice Assistants, or other novel interaction techniques.
Profile-specific courses are those that are offered by the human-computer interaction group. The choice of these courses as well as the choice of courses from different departments has to be made in agreement with your mentor, Prof. The master thesis is considered as a combination of the seminar for the master project and the master project see figure 1. Thus the combination is supervised and advised in close coordination with your supervisor Professor Reiterer and the supervising PhD student.
