In this essay I will be discussing one major change that was introduced by the Care Act which was the way adults were safeguarded. This involves professionals and other individuals working together to prevent and stop both the risks and experience of abuse or neglect. This enables practitioners to have a positive approach towards service users, which engages them in their safeguarding situation. Another change that influences safeguarding under the Care Act is the strength based perspective which is used to help protect the individual from harm.
